We collect your personal information in order to:
- The RRNZ coordination team reviews applications to assess eligibility and suitability.
- Health information is reviewed to ensure participant safety and to cater for specific needs (e.g., dietary, physical).
- Retreat logistics are planned (e.g., assigning wader sizes, accommodation, notifying caterers of dietary needs).
- Contact details are used for communication about retreat details.
- During the retreat, facilitators and lead volunteers may have access to a summary of essential health information for safety purposes.
- Video and images from the retreat can be used for fundraising and promotional purposes.
- Feedback forms are used to improve our services and can only be used for fundraising or promotional purposes only with the agreement of the participant.
Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter their health information, mobility and allergies, we’ll not be able to assess suitability to participate in the programme.
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you.
- Ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
